1. I’m a born and bred Chicagoan. My 2¢: Yes to the Obamas, no to deep dish pizza, yes to Portillo’s, no to Malört, yes to The Bear, no to Daaa Bears.
   

2. My husband is also a CD/Writer. He proposed to me onstage in NYC, emceed by drag queen Hedda Lettuce. Our first dance at the wedding was to the Golden Girls’ theme song.
   

3. I’m mom to 2 girls and 1 beagle named Arthur. They fill our hearts with love and our home with garbage.
